Christmas

Here are some pictures from Christmas morning. We recorded most of the kids unwrapping their gifts onto our video camera. I'm hoping that one day I'll know how to put video up on my blog. For now all I've got to share are these few pics:

Our Christmas Eve dinner was Beef Stroganoff made by our own master Chef Joel. He wore goggles while chopping onions to reduce the amount of crying - uh, I mean watery eyes he gets when he chops. It was perfect! This was a special Christmas for us because this was the first year that Emrie understood that Santa was leaving presents for everyone. She was just as excited as the boys Christmas night - and even got a little scared when she heard Santa's sleigh bells. This was also the first year we had a child know the true secret of Santa. The picture above was taken right when the kids saw the gifts under the tree.
Here they are passing out the gifts.

Emrie got this dress-up costume, jewelry, lots of princess stuff, a playhouse, a tea set, lots of candy, a baby alive with some accessories...plenty of girlie-girl fun!

Gabe's favorite gift was a DS. He also got nerf guns, Legos, a rollercoaster, snaps circuit board, and video games.

Mason's favorite gifts were a huge stuffed dog (he named him Big Boy), webkinz, and Legos.

Thanks to everyone for the wonderful gifts!
